A workshop held as part of the American Guild of Organists National Convention in St Louis, Missouri. After an introduction to simple guidelines for organ continuo from early 17th century sources, Dr. Hunt will be assisted by local singers to demonstrate their application to small-scale motets by Viadana, Philips, and others.
A 36-voice choir conducted by Patrick Craig presents a concert of sacred music centered around the Missa Ave sanctissima Maria by Pierre de la Rue, as the culmination of a week-long study. Free admission; donations accepted.

A 36-voice choir led by Eamonn Dougan presents a concert of sacred music by Sheppard, Tye, Parsons, Clemens, and Manchicourt as the culmination of a week-long study of repertoire by English composers from around 1510 and their Franco-Flemish contemporaries. Admission is free; donations accepted.
